Standard Operating Procedure for Border Patrol Auxiliary 

1. BPAUX members never discriminate against anyone for any reason and are cordial to everyone with whom they come into contact.

2. BPAUX members must never be present for duty or serve in any official capacity if intoxicated and do not react to any ridicule or provocation from outside instigators.

3. BPAUX members Monitor and Record suspected Illegal Activities then Alert Border Patrol or other law enforcement agencies - reporting full disclosure.

4. BPAUX members do not verbally interface, physically approach, interact with or have any form of communication with suspects of Illegal Activities such as drug or human trafficking.

5. BPAUX members strictly adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures.

6. BPAUX members understand that we are being held to a higher standard by all and follow all federal, state and local laws.

7. BPAUX members can change U.S. and global perception concerning Homeland and Border Security, understanding that our actions cannot stop illegal activities along the border, but build awareness of such illegal activity.

8. BPAUX members monitor their own behavior, the behavior of other BPAUX members and the group as a whole to ensure compliance with the SOP’s and any instruction given by Border Patrol Auxiliary Leadership.

9. BPAUX members follow a strict pack-in / pack-out procedure leaving no garbage behind on operations.

10. BPAUX members respect the rights of everyone, and follow the directions of all law enforcement personnel.

11. BPAUX members who participate in any public protest or rally will not be allowed to wear any form of BPAUX gear during those events, and will not represent BPAUX in any fashion.

12. BPAUX members never spread lies about other BPAUX members.

I am committed to protecting and preserving the highest law of the land (constitution)

I will maintain impeccable conduct in providing homeland security

I solemnly promise to protect my colleagues and other U.S. citizens from harm will provide humanitarian relief to those in need

I will strive to achieve the highest level of knowledge and educate others in order to improve our national awareness
