Jeff West- Entrepreneur-Inventor
Mr. West has made large contributions to
the LED (Light Emitting Diode) industry over the past 17 years as a
inventor and respected entrepreneur through out the country.
Mr. West served his country while in the Army
and performed various duties, not to mention his vast array of underwater diving
skills and training tasks.
Mr. West has developed a variety of electronic
testing equipment, and has successfully created many small businesses in the LED
field. His vast knowledge of the LED world also has lead to several US
Patents like: The First Roto Reader, Patented Modular LED Display,
Plurality of LED's on a serial line.
Mr. West has also been very involved with
Microprocessor applicable hardware DSP, PIC, 8038, 8051, 8052 and others.
His inventions have been used by many advertising companies through
out the world and other companies like Waterworks
International, LED Display Corp. along with various game and water park
manufactures.
Mr. West also co founded many other companies
from his partnership in Zebra those include: Display
Tech, Automatic Color Corporation, Hi-Lighter Corporation, Digital Display
Corporation.
Mr. West began his career in the housing
industry when he built the first prefab homes from Walter Industries back in
1974 to 1976. He was in the US Army from 1981-1988 with the Military Police
Academy, and spent time in Germany with various groups in military intelligence.
Upon his return to the states Mr. West worked at the US Naval Diving and Salvage
Training Center and Fort Rucker Alabama, where he also worked for Scuba Clean and
West Dive Company in Florida, and Frontline Emergency Vehicles.
In 1989 Mr. West was with Wanna Max Ventures
and designed the first Computer Muscle Testing equipment (patented).
1989-present Mr. West is
the co-founder of Smartlite Communications, Inc, Zebra Systems Development and
Light Emitting Diode Technology. Mr. West is also the co-founder of Display
Tech , Automatic Color Corp. Inc. and Hi*Lighter Corp. Mr. West also is deeply
involved with the software development for Zebra Systems, in these areas:
SignSoft, CinemaSoft, FrameSoft and FabricSoft to mention a few.
Zebra also founded Hi*Tech Electronic Sign Company.

Networks, Gas Price Display (Shell Oil), Soda Machine (Evolved into Modem
in the machine to transmit soda can count), News Ticker (Now CNN Inter

Mr. West currently manages
the Homeland Security Policy Institute Diving Forum area and moderates its own
forum area and photo gallery areas and is actively recruiting members and
